Hi all - I was requested to go to ER on Friday and spent the day there having more tests (had alot of rectal bleeding). They did a CT scan and blood work, scan showed a cyst on left side where I do not have an ovary. Surgeon was very rude to me - said "well you know you aren't 16 anymore (DUH) and do you chew your food (rude)". He still wants to do colonoscopy for what reason I have no idea. Said that he will not do surgery for adhesions only if complete blockage. Well, I do not have a complete blockage.

>>I read about your fear of having another colonoscopy. I have had four colonoscopy's since July, and I found them to be unbearable and humiliating. I went under a form of anastesia for the last one,my doctor called it MAC anastesia. It dosent require a breathing tube or anything like that. They just put in an IV,and administer anastesia through the IV. You sleep through the whole thing, and it's easy to wake up from. Maybe this will help you,and anyone else who is afraid to have to have this procedure.
