Rosemary and all,

I am new to this website and fairly new to the pain of adhesions. My name is Kim (32 yrs old.) and I just want to say thank you to all who have posted the invaluable information that appears on this board. Up until I found this board I spent very emotional weeks and months of feeling extremely alone in my pain (since all the doctors I have been to day in and out are no help at all).

I sent a quick e-mail to Dr. Redan and he left me a voicemail at 7 PM at work the same day!! This is much more than I can say for my own OBGYN office where I can't even get past the nurse on the phone. I will most likely be forwarding my records to Redan and Reich and meeting with them over the next few weeks in NY. I am battling two years of infertility and almost a year of adhesion pain. My adhesions seem to keep affecting my bladder and uterus (the two organs attach to one another. The thought of another surgery is dreadful but I want to get pregnant and am afraid of failure with very expensive assisted techniques with IVF, etc. I also don't know if my body will let me get pregnant if my uterus is bound to my bladder again....or if I will cause further damage than is already there.

I have been trying to read through many of the archives on this website and the feedback on Redan and Reich seems very positive. If anyone has any strong feelings on them can they share them with me?

Rosemary, I would love an update on your sister if you have time to share. Thanks again to all and I look forward to sharing more experiences with this support group.

Kim
