Dear Evelyn,
My heart goes out to you and any other parent whose children suffer! It must
break your heart to see your son in pain.
I have a suggestion to help relieve distention and it also helps with lower
back pain. Nurses are taught this in school to help post surgical patients.
Have him lay on his tummy and get up on his knees and elbows. Then he rocks
back and forth, touching his forehead to the bed and rocking back, putting
his behind in the air. Makes a funny picture, but it will help the pain. If
he can do this for at least 5 minutes that would help the most.
I hope that gives him at little relief. No child should have to suffer.
I'll keep him in my prayers.
In friendship,
Debby
