Here I go, again!
I need some (a lot ) of help understanding this. The xrays I had done the past Friday, I found out, were "essentially negative." I found this out by contacting the patient advocate for that clinic.
I got a call back within a few minutes.
My concern is...
Friday's xrays were essentially negative. Two days later, xrays showed I was full of stool.
Today, I went to local e.r., as I am running out of options, and want answers.
They rehydrated me, and did a CBC, which was o.k. The Dr. ordered the obstructive (KUB) xray series.
He said that there wasn't much stool in there. On Friday night, I took half the bottle of Mag citrate, but I had an awful time even moving loose stools.
Why would one xray be essentially negative, and 2 days later, I'm full of stool?
Could it be that someone didn't know what they were looking at?
Pretty scary thought.
Millie.
