Clare,
Sorry it's taken so long to reply...don't have the gumption to deal with
how long it takes to get online on my poor defective PC.
Unfortunately, I'm not doing so well. Even though my wonderful gyn used
barriers last year, the nasty things returned and are now causing more
problems than ever. There is bacteria in my urine (gross, sorry) and
he's afraid I might have a tear in my intestines or bowels. I go in
Tuesday for a CT scan with barium (double yech). Kind of a good
news/bad news scenario...sees nothing, he'll try another laparoscopy
with conversion to laparotomy as needed, sees something, straight to
laparotomy. sigh.
I have also been blessed (sarcasm, here) with the diagnoses of sleep
apnea. That dear doctor wanted me to give up the pain meds as well as
the meds that help my fibromyalgia...nope, not gonna happen! So, short
car driving trips, with the window open so I don't fall
asleep...situation normal!
