Aussie Christmas Beach Party At http://www.bombobeach.com inThe Chat room

Well, everyone’s heard about the famous “Bondi Beach Party” held every Christmas Day in Sydney Australia. Usually well attended by thousands of overseas visitors and local families enjoying the breathtaking beauty of our beach environment to celebrate the Yuletide in a very unique and Aussie way! Santa generally arrives sometime in the afternoon either on a surfboard or in the famous Bondi Beach Lifesaver’s boat. Instead of the traditional roasted meats, steamed puddings, custards and rich desserts, Aussies generally opt for a good old BBQ or a banquet of seafood to tempt and tantalise the tastebuds of most! Cold salads and a mixture of multicultural dishes find their way on to the Aussie Christmas table, making it an enjoyable and memorable feast. After lunch, spread out the towel for a bit of a rest to digest the food, a game of beach volleyball or touch footy before cooling off in the surf.So this year we have decided to start our own “Aussie Beach Party tradition” and host the first annual: Bombo beach International Chat Feast!

So put on ya “cossie” (swimming costume) grab a towel, the zinc cream and your favourite party snack and drink and join us on the beach for the first unique Aussie Christmas beach Chat Feast!Bring along all your ARD friends and family, whether you can join us for the whole party, or just a few short minutes, you will be glad that you spent some time, sharing the Christmas Spirit with us!This is the chance for us to catch up before we all head off to spend time with our own families for Christmas and will be a fun way to end a very exciting year. So whether you are in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore or Australia, you can spend time with your friends together on the beach! The Chat times are posted on the chat board and the party will be held this Friday 20th December 2002 from 6:30pm US Eastern Standard time until Midnight and for New Zealanders & Aussies, from 9am Saturday 21st until we finish!

I would like to formally invite all our friends here at the IAS message board to join in the fun!

Cheers, hugs & warm gentle hugs, Jo
