FRIDAY 20TH DECEMBER.... LIGHT A CANDLE AND LEAVE A PRAYER
From: Jo Eslick (joanne@bombobeach.com)

Dear friends at the International Adhesions Society,
In the quest to build bridges of friendship between countries and groups
we invite all members, visitors and guests to join us in an
International day of lighting candles and saying prayers for all of
those who suffer with the pain and disability caused by adhesions (ARD)
and for the families who must watch their loved ones walk through life
in pain.
Annie Hawksley from Western Australia is asking all of us to light a
candle in our place of worship or at home so that it can burn brightly
to remind us of all those who are suffering around the world.
Annie has also asked that we send out a special prayer asking our Lord
for a cure to this horrible illness. I would also like to ask that we
include our families who must live with us as we go through this pain
and suffering. It is important that we don't forget that we are NOT the
only ones who suffer and we must ask for them to be given the strength
and courage to help us live through each day instead of feeling helpless
and often feeling frustration and anger because they can do little to
ease our pain.
Please let them know that their love, company and understanding IS the
exact kind of love and medicine that we crave and need the most.
We should also pray to remember to thank our loved ones for their
unquestioning love and support.
May peace be with you…
