I have just been discharged from hospital for the holiday period. My doctor's
advice was eat little but often and drink lots of water for the constipation.
He said to try and avoid laxatives if I could and not to sit on the toilet
too long as I do have hemaroids. (from having children)
I know how you feel you think that you have gone so far so you should not
have much more pushing to go. I have even got off the toilet and went back 5
minutes later just to try and go. Now I know to drink water I hope this
helps.
