Have you tried citracyl? It is not a medication, it is fiber. You can
buy the powder kind that you mix in water or the tablet form that you
swallow. You must drink a lot of water to have it work. Most grocery
stores and pharmacies sell it.Because it is not a medication, there are
no side effects.
One of the problems of all of us with messed up bodies and bodily
functions is that the treatment for one thing causes other problems. Our
occupational status changes from whatever to "patient". or "sick person
lying around at home and spending a lot of time in the bathroom". I am
so grateful to this discussion group, becaue people who do not share are
problems get tired of hearing about our symptoms, etc. I also think it
is very boring to others who are not in the same boat.
