Dear Patsy, Welcome to our message board; here you will find lots of information and abundant support. No question is too basic to ask. You certainly have had horrible surgical experiences for the past 12 years. It seems to be that you are one of us, in that any operative procedure, even if it is supposed to improve your quality or length of life, instead leaves you worse off. Could you tell us what "tram flaps" are? The pain you are describing now in your abodomen and groin, please describe the pain. Is is stinging, pulling, tearing, heavy? Those are some of the words people use to describe adhesion pain. The advice we all hear is AVOID ANY SURGERY THAT IS NOT LIFESAVING BECAUSE YOU COULD JUST END UP WITH MORE ADHESIONS! bE SURE TO click on all the possiblities on this site's home page, especially "adhesion FAQS" and "photo gallery". I will write more later. Mary Lou
