ok my story is long too but i want to see if anyone has has the problem i have.
i have undergone 6 surgeries in approx 5 years. 3 on colon/rectal for a fistula,
a uterine ablation, complete vaginal hysterectomy, gallbladder. now i have chronic
pain and fatigue, in lower back and pelvic and abdomen. all my symptoms are mimicking
fibromyalgia. i have been to the back institute, gen physician, pain management
colon doctor(needed to to make sure no problems with colon again) some started me
on vicodin and anti depressants. all did their tests and then wrote me off because
nothing showed up on their tests. i went to my gyno because of pain with intercourse
. he said i had scar tissue from complete hyst and colon surgeries that the adhesions
were back to back. i have an appointment with a rheumatologist because all of my symptoms
point to fibromyalgia. now i am faced with the surgery to remove adhesions. or continue to
believe i have fribromyalgia.just want to know that i have something would be such a relief.not to mean
that i want something wrong. i have been to a physciatrist and he said to pursue the control of my pain.
i don't want to do anything any more. my house is a wreck and my job is suffering. could i have fibro and
still have scar adhesions or is one causing the other???? someone help
