My comment got a bit mangled, too... The space in the url needs to be replaced with a percent sign followed by the number "20" When I wrote the posting that's what I put in there, and the IAS message board software "helpfully" replaced it with a space!

The main things I have noticed as problems in displaying urls are two-fold.

First off, I have no idea if it is the browser program or what, but I frequently see posts where letters are missing and replaced by spaces. For awhile I thought it was just that we were all dopey typists, but that's not really a common typographical error and I think the software is messing up somehow. ("To err is human, to really mess things up takes a computer!") Put a space in the middle of a url and it will no longer be valid. Sometimes you can figure out what the missing letter is by context, but other times forget it.

Secondly, if a url is longer than the line that the board software wants, then it will break off the end of the line and put it on the next line, breaking the url in the process.

In both cases the longer the url the higher the probability of a problem.

Since my browser seems somewhat less prone to the first problem, when I see a url that is mangled I will try to repost it and see if my luck is different...
