Sorry but I have not posted for a while, my husband & step son have been on the net for almost a week. I wanted you to know that there is a better way for them to put the NG tube down. I know from extensive experience that they need to, first warm the tube before they try to put it into your nose. Second make sure they bend the beginning of the tube, that enters your nose & make sure again it is warm. When they give you the water to swallow make sure they give you a BIG glass of water. As I tell them they are only going to suck it back out anyway. It is much easier to get down that way. The last two times I had this done I was power vomiting even with continuos suction. Hope all is well now as for me I am doing good but caught a bug from work & had to dome home early from work. Unfortunately due to my previous surgeries I get any bug that I come in contact with.
