Hi Mary Lou, That sounds like a good idea. I know my surgeon has mentioned physical therapy at six weeks after surgery, so maybe I'll mention the massage stuff too. Thanks for the suggestion.

And how are you feeling after your surgery on your DDD? Which levels did you have fused? I've been told that I may actually have more flexibility after surgery, after my neck muscles relax (I've lost the normal lordosis and have this stiff, straight neck). The surgeon urged me not to wait more than 6 months for the surgery, because it may result in permanent problems. So scary as it may sound, sometimes you just have to do it.
