I have had chronic abdominal pain since I was 13(I am 29 now) In the past 7 years I have had 10 surgeries. I have had Docs tell me "Adhesions don't cause pain" "You'll just have to learn to live with it, there's nothing more I can do.""Narcotics will make your pain worse""Try to think of something else." "Oh, your just depressed, your body deals with depression this way." I had one doc, I saw when I was extremely sick. Hadn't slept, eaten drank anything in 6 days, I looked like death. He said" Oh, your looking at the glass like it is half empty, I am looking at it like it is half full. You have the flu. I am sending you PC a "good" letter....*laughs*....for once." Some docs SHOULDN'T BE PRACTICING!!!!!! ((Hugs)) Bonnie
