I'm a 58 yr. old woman who had a colonoscopy 8 days ago. Last nightI
passed something in my stool, a 10 inch long by 1/2 to 1" wide piece of
what looks and feels like tissue. During the procedure a polyp was
removed and two "red" areas scraped. Two days ago I began an exercise
program that involved bouncing on an exercise ball & lifting weights. I
over-did it. I called my doctor who did the procedure & he said there
was no way this was related to the procedure & if there was no pain or
blood, don't worry. I am not convinced as this looks to me like the
lining if intestine. Has anyone ever had this happen after a
colonoscopy? Should I take the tissue in for analysis?
