Re: Waiting for response from Nestle on Omega 3

Dear Nina, I do not mean to dissapoint you but I do not think any dietary supplement is going to help us until more is understood about why adhesions form. Some of the best minds in the world are working to tackle this dilemma. Adhesions can start to grow even as you lie in surgery. Surgeons have actually seen them grow during lengthy procedures. 7-10 days and they may well be already formed. ( hence second look laps after 7 days to look for denovo and reformed adhesions) It is your bodies natural response to an antogonist introduced into the area. If anything , I would think an antiimflamitory would do best in the actual setting where the adhesion would form and not through the digestive tract where effect could be diluted....to take a dietary suppliment for the antiimflamitory response you are thinking about....basing it on the antiimflamitory results of chrohns or IBS. I don't know... Please...you go and prove me wrong, I'd be all for that. Warmest wishes, Dawn >
