The Nutritional Restart Center is a good program w/people getting off on TPN.I have had short bowel since Aug 2000 and when the hospital's dieitican (in Wisconsin)found out I only have 112 cm of sm. intestine, she called the NRC and obtained information about medication, diet and caring for a patient w/Short bowel at the hospital where I was a patient. That is the best thing they have done for me and we are very pleased w/the result. W/O them, I would probably still be on TPN and tube feeding and be a patient at that Center.
