Hi Meg,
Oh dear......sounds so familiar.........my daughter, Melissa (27) sick for
13 years from adhesion
related problems. Had 2 surgeries in the States---made her WORSE-----thank
God for Dr. Kruschinski-- I cannot tell you how grateful we are we made the
trip to him. I would have given up
everything I own for my daughter to be out of bed........Melissa had decided
no one could
ever help her, she had been through so much. She even fought us about going
to Germany (thought mom had really lost her mind this time)........lol......
..but, I couldn't deny the posts on the IAS and Bombobeach site........
people were returning from Germany with great success reports, all praising
Dr. Kruschinski. (You can check out Dr. Kruschinski at http://www.EndoGyn.com.)
Now Melissa is SO glad we went!! And so am I!!! She is out of bed, no nausea
no vomiting, no headaches, no constipation, no tied-up in knots...........
YEAH!!!!!!
I was told for 13 years she had CROHN'S, IBS, SPASTIC COLON, etc..........I
was told I needed to "accept her illness" by "medical professionals (??????)
here in the US. I fought them every day and took her to so many doctors--no
help......I was the optimistic mom, knowing there had to be that ONE special
doctor that would get to the bottom of her pain.....well, after 13 years of
dragging her to every doctor I heard of and flying her to doctors that
someone would recommend, I was losing my mind and Melissa was as sick as
ever. I finally gave up on doctors (well, actually I was forced into that
decision by Melissa) SHE was so very sick of it all--sick of the same tests
repeated over and over and over. We were always told the same thing: You
have a narrowed portion of bowel. You really need to be on antidepressants
and a high fiber diet.
Melissa told me, "No more doctors mom, no one can help me--don't make any
more appointments, I won't go. They all think I am nuts, maybe I am, maybe
everyone has this type of pain and I am just can't handle it" ............
this made me realize she was so right--we hadn't gotten any help and in fact
had been ridiculed. I began researching on my own regarding her symptoms and
I prayed a lot! I finally decided her problem HAD to be endometriosis (we
had been told by countless ob/gyn's it was not). One night in an
endometriosis chat room, I was told to take her to a doctor that dealt with
endo in Dallas, Texas. I found the physician and he immediately agreed she
had been misdiagnosed---he scheduled her for laproscopic surgery. He came
out with the photos of her adhesed pelvis. He was very bothered as he looked
at them and said, "I don't know how this girl has stood the pain--this is
the worse I have ever seen". I had never heard of adhesions. Then he showed
us photos of a "freed"pelvis --------he had taken the adhesions down. The
next day, Melissa told me she felt no different!!!!!! I was devastated. On
the next office visit , he wanted to start her on Lupron injections (his
remedy to stop endo)...........She was still in pain and after researching
Lupron, (she did take one injection) we decided this was not the answer. I
had also decided she must have adhesions wrapped around the intestines. The
next office visit we asked many questions about the bowel being involved (we
were ignored) and I voiced my concerns on the Lupron (which can cause
headaches, etc.). Melissa was ALREADY having daily headaches, how could she
stand more??? The very next day Melissa received a call from the doctor. He
told her not to bring her mom with her on any future visits. Melissa called
me and said, "Well, mom, another doctor down the tube!!!" She was SO
mad!!!!!! Poor guy, I know he wishes he wouldn't have made THAT call!
Then I heard about a doctor in California--he told me if she had bowel
involvement, he had a bowel specialist that is with him during surgery and
in fact, sometimes the bowel specialist becomes the surgeon and he said, "I
becomes the assistant." He sounded so sincere, kind and understanding.....
So, we flew to California and she had surgery with the doctor there.........
....after surgery, he told me her bowels were not involved. I knew by
studying adhesions he must be wrong!!!!!!!They HAD to be wrapped in
adhesions!!!!!! Furthermore, try as I might, I never got to meet the
so-called bowel specialist!!! This very kind doctor never even came by to
see her after surgery--he actually called her on her room phone! (I knew he
was tired of me chasing him around the room with my "bowel" questions!) Then
the day arrived for us to fly out. She had an appointment at his office. He
never showed his face. I was livid! The nurse ran to get him. We waited
about 15 minutes. He finally came in, but sidestepped every question we had
concerning the bowels. We returned home and her stomach grew larger and
larger and she began complaining about pain in places she had not had
previous pain ~~
......I began researching again and read about Dr. Kruschinski. Thank God--
Dr. Kruschinski went through the entire bowel and said her whole bowel was
so adhesed "food could not pass through".............her stomach had
adhesions, the diaphragm, liver, and pelvis.
Dr. Kruschinski told me the nausea, throwing up, and migraines were a direst
result of the adhesions on her stomach!
Please don't let anyone tell you that any doctor can use SprayGel and you
will be well!!!!!!! People CLAIM that there are world-renowned doctors that
will get you well whether they use SprayGel or not! Not so. People also
mistakenly think that all the doctor needs is SprayGel and their surgery
will be a success. This is not so either!
The SURGEON is the most important part of your surgery success! I will be
glad to send you copies of Melissa's first surgery photo (in the States) and
her recent ones from Dr. Kruschinski, both before and after surgery. Her
first surgery photos show a pelvis so adhesed, one ovary could not even be
found. The photo really sheds light on what is happening inside the body.
When I see the photo I am reminded of all the doctors that told us she only
needed an antidepressant!!! Give me a break!
I am also forwarding the post I wrote once we returned from Germany. I know
I may be long winded,
but I also know many women are living the nightmare that we have lived. I
give details to let you know we have "been there, done that" and I hurt for
all the women existing in agony while doctors tell them to "get over it
!!!!!
Let me add.......Dr. Kruschinski is such a caring man that Melissa said,
Mom, he is too human to be a doctor".........now, that is a nice man! I
never had to chase Dr.Kruschinski to get a question answered........lol.....
he is available and comes checking on the patient over and over. He is
excited about his work, your life and cannot wait to hear you say you no
longer feel the old adhesion pain. I could not believe Melissa's daily
headaches and daily nausea were from adhesions! Who would have thought?? I
didn't know, nor did she, that she was often short of breath from the
adhesions on the diaphragm! She knew after surgery--she could breathe
easier!
Dr. Kruschinski also makes your trip to Germany EASY. He has it all planned
for you. You are picked up at the airport and taken to his office and to
your apartment. It was all very simple. Many of my friends (especially men)
were alarmed that Melissa and I were trucking off to Germany alone!! (They
had previously worried about us going to California!!!) My husband though
was never worried. He knew after reading Dr Kruschinski's e mails we would
be okay.....and he sent us off with tears and well wishes, knowing we would
return with a daughter that has a new chance at life. He has cried many
times since our return. Melissa is WELL and what a joy that trip has been to
this family!!

Best wishes,
