Hi Tammy,

I also recently found this site and feel better (not to be cruel but.) that there are others out there going through the same thing. I also had pain with urination first thing in the morning, VERY low back pain, pain down my right leg which caused me to limp, and cramps like I had my period (hysterectomy almost 4 years ago). I don't mention all the symptoms to my doctors any longer because in past experience if I told the doctor that I was having irregular bowel movements they wanted to send me for test I know I don't need, that it is caused by adhesions. My last bout with adhesions caused pain usually when I would sit. I had to get up 3 times during Thanksgiving dinner with my family and stand for a couple minutes just to make it thru! My last doctor gave up on me saying he didn't know what else to do for me so I had to find someone else. The new doctor did surgery on my May 2 and all those weird symptoms are gone (for now) after he removed the adhesions. He is suggesting I have physical therapy to keep things 'loose' so to speak and I have my first appointment on Tuesday. I have only been able to find a couple places mentioning this angle to deal with adhesions. I am going to give it a try and see what I get. The doctor doesn't want to have to go back in because he said there are several very thin places on my bowel caused by the adhesions increasing the chance of damage to my bowels. I really hope the physical therapy works because I am getting frustrated and depressed about this whole mess. It just seems like I am fighting a loosing battle to live a pain free life. Good luck to everyone! Heather
