Amanda,
There is physical addiction and psychological addiction. I believe
either is possible. Before during and after my hysterectomy I was on a
lot of pain meds. Even when the pain was mostly gone it was very hard
for me physically to get off them. I do know every one is different. I
just tend to have a hard time coming off them.
