Yes, most ulcer are caused by bacteria, and some are caused by acid reflux, but my ulcer is caused by prior surgery. I had weight loss surgery and when the surgeon stabled my stomach the part where he cut lost blood flow and caused an ulcer. Ischemic in nature. I have slowly progressively gotten worse. It's manageable now.
