HELLO. MY NAME IS ABREY. I AM A 39 YEAR OLD WOMAN WHO IS HAVING A HYSTEROECTMY MID JUNE. I AM ALSO A QUADRAPALEGIC W/ A HISTORY OF SEVERAL ABDOMINAL SURGERIES VOR MANY DIFFERENT THINGS. ALL THE SURGERIES LEFT SERIOUS ADHESIONS THROUGHOUT MY BELLY. I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN GETTING LARGE CYSTS ON MY OVARIES AND THE LAST TWO WERE EACH AT LEAST 1 1/2 LITERS EACH. DOCS, BECAUSE OF MY SURGICAL HISTORY DO NOT WANT TO DO THE OPERATION FOR THESE REASONS. MY CONCERN IS W/ THE EXTENT OF THE ADHESIONS I AM TERRIFIED OF THE VERY REAL POSSIBILITY OF BEING LEFT W/ A COLOSTOMY. MY BOWELS, BLADDER, OVARIES, UTERUS AND EVERYTHING ELSE IS LIKE CEMENT.

TWO YEARS AGO THE DOCS THOUGHT I HAD A MALIGNANT TUMOR AND OVARIAN CANCER. THANK GOD THEY WERE WRONG, BUT IT WAS THEN I WAS TOLD THE EXTREME DIFFICULTY THEY HAD EVEN GETTING TO MY OVARIES AND MY UTERUS WAS ALSO TOO HARD TO EVEN RECOGNIZE FROM THE ADHESIONS.

I KNOW THIS IS A NEEDED SURGERY, BUT WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY MAY HAVE HEARD ABOUT AN "INTERNAL COLOSTOMY". I'M WONDERING IF I MAY BE A CANADIATE IF IT COMES DOWN TO THAT AS A RESULT OF THE OPERATION. IT IS A VERY REAL POSSIBILITY THIS COULD BE A RESULT. I WOULD HAVE SUPER HARD TIME DEALING W/ THAT. EVERYTHING ELSE IS OK.

IF ANY INFO ABOUT THIS IS KNOWN, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I'M ALSO CURIOUS ABOUT HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY, ETC..

THANKS
