I have two wonderful doctors...my primary care physician is Dr. Rickmeyer and
my gynecologist who did my adhesiolysis is Dr. David Super. My gyn did it
because my left ovary and tube were adhered to my intestine and then stuck to my
pelvic sidewall. My adhesions formed after a hysterectomy. Together they
worked with me and knowing my history came to the conclusion that I had to have
adhesions. Even though my gyn was reluctant to do the surgery he did do it
and I have been well ever since. A couple of times I felt that adhesions might
be reforming, but so far so good.
I certainly understand going to the ends of the earth to have the surgery if
there are no other options.
