Hello all, it's been a bit. First I would like to thank the members of this site for being so responsive when I was first writing you. Sometimes it just helps to "hear" that you are not alone. Second I would like to thank everyone for sharing so much information. It is what gave me the courage to go and get a second opinion. I went and saw a beautiful and wonderful Endo/ fertiltiy specialist yesterday. First she confirmed (due to an episode of significant bleeding 1 1/2 weeks ago after exersize) that my adhesions are most likely already reforming. But what I adore about her is that she and her NP believe 100% in the pain that adhesions can cause! She also discussed the fact that surgery is not desired until absolutely necessary (as it can promote new growth). My old MD never mentioned this. Instead of Lupron or some of the heavier "menopause" inducing drugs she is suggesting I alternate periods until we try and get pregnant by "skipping" my greens(will try in 6-12 months). She discussed with me that if I do need a Lap prior to pregnancy, that she will lay down barriers to reduce the chances of new growth. I do not know if it is the same as used in Germany, but anything is better than nothing. She also explained that since my 2nd Lap revealed adhesions in completely different areas than the first that the barrier may not be effective, but that her goal is for me to have a baby, and to have quality of life. She will work with my fiance and I (we both have significant health problems) to help us try to get pregnant within the means we are comfortable with. Most of all, not only did she listen to me, but she HEARD me. She was impressed with the questions I asked, and how I was able to describe in detail absolutely everything. She was impressed that 12 months before wanting to get pregnant I was in her office wanting to know what I can do proactively to achieve my goals of living with minimal pain, and having a child.

It's back, and I know it's back. 2 1/2 months after my last procedure that is a definite. But I know I have someone in my corner that is going to fight this as much as me. In my book it's the fight that makes you a success, no matter the outcome.

So thank you to this site, for igniting the fighter within me. May we all find someone to hear us.
