Dearest Denise, You have come to the right place with the right attitude. Comb through all the information in this site and arm yourself with the knowledge of what it means to suffer from ARD. I am a single mom too, mine is eight. By the age of 6 she could make us a simple meal for dinner...even scrambled eggs. This evil disease leaves most poor, feeling a burden to all, and if you have a child, you feel the guilt of a thousand mothers. Does a real number on your self esteme. It is not your fault. You hang here and get your perspetive back. You are surely doing the best you can. I promise, there is hope. A mothers love will see you through. The best thing to know is you are not alone anymore. We are all here for each other and sharing the pain with those who understand it is one of the most therapeutic things that has even happened to me. The IAS is doing so much behind the scenes to help us. Post your questions and concerns on the message board. Help others if you can by your experience. Your answers lie here somewhere. My name is Dawn Rose and I live near Boston, MA. I hope you consider me a new friend. Love, Dawn At Sun, 6 Jul 2003, Denise wrote: >
