Hi!

I have been suffering from endometrosis now for about 10 years. During my recent pelvic exam, my doctor noted that he could feel pulyps all over my uterus.

I was diagnosed with endo in 2000 via lap. My husband and I suffer from infertility, so we were looking to find the reasons why we couldn't get pregnant. My doctor removed all the endo he could see. Sadly though it didn't take away my endo pain, as well as didn't help me get pg.

This month starts our 7th year ttc. My OB feels I should have another lap, but I'm very worried about adhesions formed, or scar tissue created from another surgery.

Also he has asked me to participate in a study called "A Safety and Efficacy Study of N,O-carboxymethylchitosan (NOCC) When Used for Reduction of Postoperative Adhesions Development in Women Undergoing Laparoscopy." I'm wondering if anyone else has heard of this, or knows anything about it? I'm a bit nervouse to participate for the fact that I'll have to do 2 laps.

Any feed back would be much appreciated. Thanks
