Thanks Deborah. Went to a general surgeon (specialty oncology but supposed to know adhesions too) in my area today. He pressed on the scar from my appendectomy and I felt something move and relieve pressure in my back. Asked him if I could have adhesions on my back and he said no. Almost felt like a bone shifted. Wants to do laparoscopy possibly to see what's causing pain. I also have many fibroids, one especially large. He says maybe we should remove uterus at same time to avoid another surgery later. Gyno isn't sure uterus should come out yet. I'm apprehensive about more adhesions. They say fibroids might go away with menopause, but that could take yrs. Don't know what to do. Praying for answers.

Last summer he did a rectal dissection, but I contiue to have pain. He said it was possible for adhesions to attach to the spine, and that the stress of pain in the abdominal area will cause lower back pain since I am always tight in that area. Hope this info helps.
