I am currently going to physical therapy that is being done by the urology department. My pain management doctor suggested it and I am actually getting some relief. The therapist herself suffered from abdominal pain from adhesions for 10 years and she is now pain free. I have only had 3 appointments so far, but after the 1st one I had six hours without pain! Each time I go it lasts a little longer. She said it would take at least 3 months for me to be able to try and stop taking my meds or at least decrease the amount that I am taking. When I am there she massages my belly, inner thighs, and back. She stretches me and it makes such a difference. She also puts heat on me afterwards. I had my last surgery in august of 2002 and this procedure is working!!!! Hope others will have some luck with this.
