Here we go again. It's been almost ten years since the gallbladder has
been removed. Pain upper right quadrant.
Every test known taken. Ct-scan (3), sonograms (?),
blood tests, colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, LIVER
BIOPSY!, all negative. No more tests and I've run out of doctors. The
new one I have (because of a change in our medical plan at work) is
pretty cool for he does believe it could be adhesions (the other doctors
(specialists) kind've thought I was nuts), but he says that there is
little that can be done besides going back in. I run ultra-marathons,
kickbox and belong to two karate studios. I am 52 years old but I feel
15 years younger but......sometimes I get this
@$#%&*% pain where my gallbladder was aand it drives me crazy not to
mention the rotten pain. My big question is
(and I have learned to live with it; at times) is that over the years
does this problem get worse? I notice that these
"attacks" are getting quite more frequent (I don't have them
all of the time) and they also seem to get worse. I understand that
these adhesions can get inflammed. Am I right? And if so, what causes
the inflammation. I've had this condition(?) a long time and have
learned to live with it except when I have these episodes that seem to
last forever. Am interested in hearing from anyone that has had their
gallbladder out and who has has similar problems. I need to know that I
am not nuts.
