To answer your question, I too have the rectal muscle spasms that prevent complete evacuation.
I wish I knew the cause and the solution to this miserable problem for both our sakes, but sadly I don't. It seems possible that adhesions play a role but I would only be guessing.
Hopefully someone here knows more about this and can kindly post some information for us & others who have this problem.
