I just found this wonderful website and would like to know if anyone
else just has intermitent painful spasms like myself. From what I've
read here, it sounds like most everyone has constant pain. For over a
year now, I've had horrible contractions around my navel area every 2 to
4 weeks. I know I have a lot of adhesions from surgery and radiation 20
years ago. I've had every test they make, I think and also 2
endoscopys. My gastro dr.does not give pain medicine and I think I've
been through all of the anti-spas drugs. Librax is what he gave me last
(1 every 6 hrs)and then added 10 mg.amitriptyline at bedtime. I can't
even tell if it helps. The pain gets so bad, even when I had pain meds
for it. Then, it does not completely go away for several days and I am
so very sore for a day or two after the bad cramping, that I am still
useless. Are there any doctors in the US that treat this and what would
the speciality be under?
