Jayne, I had my pain management appointment on Tuesday and asked them to give me something else for the pain and she wound give me anything that is a complete narcotic. I am having problems with depression and she is concerned that the narcotics will make the depression worse. Even though I was in the ER on 8/1 because the pain was so bad I couldn't move. The ER doctor told me that I should be taking a narcotic and gave me a shot of diluaded and a script of 20 to get me through the bad time. I told my pain management doctor this and she said there was no way she was going to give me a script for anything else. She did change my percocet prescription to for 5/325 to 10/650 but they don't really last that long. My pain management doctor thinks that eventually I will have to come off the meds....she said I can't be on this stuff forever....don't know what planet she is from. But I will deal with that when the time comes. I have a great PCP and surgeon and they both know that I will need something for pain most likely forever or until they can treat me with spraygel. I have been dealing with quite a bit lately...these past two years have been rough on my family and my husband is actually moving out of our home as I write this. I am hoping god will help him make the right choices and realize he needs to be with his family. We have a 4 year old daughter. We were blessed with her, I never thought I would have a baby and I was lucky to get pregnant the first time we tried IVF. Next week I will be attending a psychiatric partial hospitalization program, which is intensive therapy from 9am - 2pm every day. Sorry for rambling....I am just so scared. It is hard enough dealing with the pain and stress caused by it, along with raising a 4 year old, but now I have to worry that my husband may never come back and I will be all alone. I think I am going to give the shot a try...who knows...I guess it can't make it any worse and I could get lucky and get some relief from it. Thanks for letting me vent...it really helps. I will let you all know how the procedure turns out.

Wishing my extended family pain free moments Deborah, NH
