Dee, I feel sorry for you. I too have been in and out of the ER
countless times, gone through many CT scans and they don't find anything
different than what they already know is going on. The adhesions don't
show on scans. I suppose in a way I am fortunate that I do have other
issues that they are forced to address because I had surgery on Sept.
3rd and when they opened me up they were astonished at the amount of
adhesions present. I was told it was the worst case the doctor had ever
seen. At least they were removed yet again. It is impossible to get a
doctor to go "in" unless they can see something on a film and since
adhesions don't show up I guess we are doomed to a life of pain until
something else forces them to go in and they are faced with dealing with
removing the adhesions at that time. It isn't fair. I also am a
chronic pain patient and even though I am being well taken care of, no
one understands the pain of the adhesions because until they "see" them,
they don't understand that they are so severe. I wish I had the magic
answer about what to do and who to see about it. I do hope you are able
to find help.My suggestion is to find a doctor who is an OB/GYN that
specializes in cancer treatment. That was my saving grace.
