Hi! I know that there are some on this message board that don't
appreciate people coming on here and bragging about treatments that have
worked. But I feel that I must let you in on my experience. I had 9
surgeries for endo. as well as for extensive adhesions in the past. I
also had a terrible reaction to the adhesion barrier that is placed
inside your abdomen after surgery to prevent future adhesions. It is
supposed to be absorbed by the body. But , for some reason my body
wouldn't absorb it and instead it burned me and caused severe
inflamation as well as pain. My doctors here in Arkansas had never seen
anything like it. They didn't know what to do, they tried to rinse it
out with saline but that didn't work. I tried every specialist within
driving range only to be blown off. That is when I read about Dr.
Gerhart. I contacted him and he contacted me right back. He thought
that it all needed to be cut out, get down to the tissue as well. He
also felt that we needed Dr. Harry Reich to assist because there was a
real possibility that endo was still there. Even after my hysteretomy.
So, on Labor Day I flew to Pennyslvania and had surgery with these guys.
Talk about gentleman! They listen to you! They do not interrupt you!
They actually want to hear what you have to say! That behavior from
docs. alone made me feel a little better! I won't lie to you and tell
you that I am pain free. I still have my moments. But it is a whole
lot better!!!! I can play with my son, I can get on the floor with him
and roll around. I chased him around the yard today! I am making real
progress here! It was expensive. We probably won't have the type of
Christmas that we are used to. But that is okay. My nine year old
daughter said she didn't care, she got her present. She got her mom
back! And for that I am truly thankful! I will answer any questions that
