I have had many bowel resections due to adhesions also had to have a colectomy due to them. If you are a person who is bothered with ARD this may make it worse as I had a resection done in 2001 as an emergency as the last one was totally obstructed. There is quite a bit of pain after this type of surgery & it depends on if you are having a lap or open,
