I have been told to take Zelnorm for IBS, by 3 different gastros. One got
an attitude with me when I told him I am afraid to take it . He knows I had
adhesions long before the hyst, as well as more adhesions during/after hyst.
The ad on t.v. for Zelnorm says it's not for use in women with diarrhea,
women who've had bowel obstructions, nor is it for use if you have
adhesions.
I called the company who manufactures Zelnorm, and I asked the lady why
exactly Zelnorm is not for use in these instances.
She acted peeved at me and her answer... "Well, it's up to the individual
Dr." So I wonder who's trying to pull a fast one over on who.
Millie.
P.S. Has anyone else called the Zelnorm manufacturer with this same
question?
