Re: What are the symptoms of a partial bowel blockage? How is it
From: chad austin (dysonzoo@yahoo.com)

I am a 17 year old boy that has problems with partial bowel blockage. It
usually begins with a bloated stomach, then pain, ending with vomiting.
To treat it, you will be hospitalized for about a week with no food,
just a I.V. for nutrition. If you do not clear up, you will have the
blockage surgically opened. I have had this surgery once, and am sick
right now with partial blockage. My docter told me about a "Joel Baker
tube" that is put in the small intestine to "train" it to stay open.
