Adhesions Removed in So Calif

Your website and message board is a God send!
My hysterectomy (only surgery every) was July 2002, and from that formed
adhesions from my abdominal wall and pelvic area to colon and small
bowel, both left and right side. This has caused numerous episodes of
bowel obstruction and pain.
After finding and reading your message board, I found I wasn't alone and
wasn't crazy! I met with a doctor in So Calif and he seems to know what
he's talking about, with a long list of credentials. He said he felt he
could help but if he was not successful, Germany was a real possiblity.
He's very discouraged that the US does not have a working adhesion
barrior available.
I had the adhesions removed this month, Nov 13 and was pain free for 7
days. However, the pain has returned. I am extremely disappointed, but
understand life goes on and I must adjust. However, I am not giving up
and will continue to search for an answer.
Thanks to all of you who share and encourage. My prayers are with all
of you.
