Adhesions made worse by weight gain - and adhesions and abdominal

I have two questions about abdominal adhesions (from Crohn's disease and
abdominal surgery) -
1. Does anyone know if a signigicant weight gain can make the pain from
adhesions worse (and conversally if weight loss helps)?
2. Has anyone else out there had problems with large ammount of
abdominal fluid (ascites) from adhesions?
