Paula,
Find a different doctor. Start doing your own
research anywhere, anyway you can. Gather as
much information as you can and start looking
for a different doctor. Until you find one
that understands you and you are comfortable
with, you will feel like you are defeated.
Living with chronic pain, adhesions or whatever,
it is a must to take control of your own destiny.
Don't let your chronic pain become your identity.
It is only a part of you. Don't let the doctor
rule your destiny. Get tough and stay tough.
Find a swimming pool and float, that will
relieve alot of your pain. I've been there,
I am in a remission from pain but may get
the adhesions back. My last surgery to
remove adhesions was November 26th, 2003.
I instruct water aerobics, got started to
control my adhesions pain. It works. Let
me know, I care, kim
