Everyone should always try to remember that most pain pills will dry you up. The best remedy seems to be "take a pain pill, take some sort of laxative" at the same time. AND drink a lot of water. This helps. There are also teas on the market (marketed as diet teas) that seem to help flush your system. Carob works for some too.
