Hi all,

I am so glad I found this website, for ages I thought this was something I suffered pretty much alone. Approx 10 years ago I had P.I.D. cause by use of tampons which resulted in adhesions being left on my ascending colon, sigmoid colon & left ovary. The adhesions on my colon/s made my bowel movements few & far between, I also was directed to use dupholac for 6 to 12 months for a lazy bowel which I did (I agree the discomfort of the cramps makes it hard to stick with it) the result was I had become quite regular and because of this the my movements had become softer and easier to pass. They apparently become hard because they stay in the bowel for so long most of the water is absorbed. I stopped taking the dupholac and was fine for about a year & a half but I am just about to start taking the dupholac again as things are goning back to they way they were before I had taken it. If any of you know of any better way let me know. I hope this helps someone in some way.

All the best, Di
