I had adhesion surgery in 2000 and again 8 weeks ago. I have been in pain since my first surgery and definitely still in pain after my second attempt at surgery (adhesions on large intestine). My insurance company won't cover any meds and wants to fight everything I've ever had done. Any ideas for getting medical help and coverage long term so I can afford pain relieving meds? Only pain pills and Zelnorm have given me any relief and that pain relief is hit and miss as it is. I often get very nauseaus on pain meds - so they can make things worse for me. How are the rest of you managing to hold down a job while in severe pain and have medical coverage for this preexisting condition?
