Adhesions

Hi, I'm new here and don't know if my problem can be addressed here. But
I wold certainly appreciate any info I can get. My history is I had an
appendix rupture many many years ago, subsequent infection caused
adhesions, from there I had other abdominal surgeries causing more
adhesions. Had a lysis done in 1990 which helped the abdominal pain
tremendously.
Here is my current problem: I had an anterior spinal fusion done in 1997
and a posterior redo in 2002. I have developed severe burning back pain
upon urge for bowel movement or with gas. It is quite debilitating. Has
anyone heard of adhesions causing this kind of problem? I have an
appointment with a colo/rectal surgeon next week and wanted to be a
little more informed when I talk to him.
