I had seprafilm placed during my last surgery... during my colostomy reversal when they found hundreds of adhesions. My pain relief was very short lived...within a few months I was back to being in pain..Now..one year later..it's like it was not even there. Daily pain.

Has anyone tried Seprafilm? I've gotten mixed reviews about this product and would like some more input about it. My doctor wants to use it on me and I'm not so sure. It would mean opening me up instead of laproscopic and I've heard that it only gives an extra 6 months of pain relief. If this is true then I don't want to take the extra risk of more incisions. Can anyone help with info?
