Mary, Is there a reason why you are considering surgery at this time? Have you thought about working with a pain specialist? Reason for my questions, is that everytime you have surgery, you end up with more adhesions. Surgery is not the solution, only a temporary solution to a much bigger problem. I just don' t want you ending up with a cholestomy bag in your side. There are other options out there besides surgery. I would like to hear from you. Dee
