Kat,
I am so sorry that you are going through this. I
just want you to know that you are never alone in
this. I will always be here for you whenever you
need to talk or need advice. First of all you need
to obtain medical insurance ASAP, so that you don't
accumulate so many medical bills. I know from
personal expierence. Does the state you live in have
medicaid ? If so, you need to apply for it whenever
you get the chance to do so. You may be eligible to
recieve medcaid or medicare depending on your financial
statis.
Secondly, you may want to get a second opinion
with a gastro specialist. The only thing is that
there are no medical tests that I am aware of that
will show adhesions period. The only way adhesions
can be dectected is by having a laparoscopy. That
is the only true way. You also may want to ask your
gastro about having a colonoscopy to determine if
there is anything going on in your colon. A
colonoscopy can detect many things in the colon
that a regular x-ray won't show.
