Update:It's been 3 weeks and my adhesions are back full blown.
After 3 years with my PCP, after I had enough and told him
to send me to a surgeon....last week he wrote me and asked
me NOT to return to his office. It's not enough we can't
get the help, nor the attention that ARD deserves....but
they way we are treated is unbelievable.
I'm not sure what my next move will be but I'm sure
I don't have 13K for an operation over seas. I think
I could handle the pain, but the obstruction is
where I have no patience. I would have never thought
I would be going through this. As far as a swelling
belly....that is a part of the ARD. I wasn't able to
eat anything, but was gaining wt. I started to lose
the weight after the surgery.....but am now starting
to gain it back. Possibly due to my stomach actually
being streached and glued to another part in my
abdominal cavity. My best to everyone!
