Thank you to everyone for the prayers and good wishes!
I had surgery on Friday morning and am doing well. It
turned out that the "mass" that was seen on my CT scan
was actually just my ovary. The confusion came from the
ovary not being where it was supposed to be.
Instead of it floating up above my uterus somewhere,
it was adhered to the side of my uterus. The doctor
said that the ovary also had several large cysts which
he lanced. I also had a hernia by my belly button and
lots of adhesions. My doctor said that the adhesions
were pulling my stomach downward. No wonder my belly
hurt, huh? I'm all fixed up now and hope to stay that
way!
